You may have noticed that I didn’t post last Tuesday. That’s because I was all wrapped up in the excitement for the launch for Journal of a UFO Investigator, which was held Tuesday evening at Flyleaf Books in Chapel Hill, NC.
What a wonderful, wonderful party that was! With a special UFO cake, featuring the Three Men in Black. (The picture is based on the dust jacket of Gray Barker’s They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers, the book that created the legend of the Men in Black–see my last post.)
Here’s a couple more photos from the launch, courtesy of my friend Tricia Harrison. The second one shows me signing a copy for Tricia’s husband, Dave Harrison.
While we’re talking about the book, you may want to watch the trailer for it. This was filmed last month by the marvelously talented Alison Hill, of Seren Media.

What with all that’s going on now, I will not be able to post next Tuesday (February 15). I’ll be back on the 22nd, continuing the story of Gray Barker and They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers–and how, fifty years ago, this book reshaped my young life.
